General Ultrasound
Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to image the body. It is non-invasive, painless, does not involve radiation, and allows for real-time imaging.
With our state-of-the-art technology and knowledge from our experienced radiologists and sonographers, we aim to provide patients with the most precise diagnosis for all abdominal, renal, pelvic, and obstetric ultrasounds.
Preparation
Please bring any previous diagnostic imaging and reports related to the area.
Abdominal Ultrasound: Fast for minimum 6 hours prior to the scan. However, if you are having a Fibroscan/Elastography, also avoid alcohol intake 12 hours prior.
Renal, Pelvic & Obstetric Ultrasounds: Empty bladder and drink at least 1 litre of water 1 hour prior to the scan. Do NOT empty bladder until the scan is completed.
Appointment required.
However, we will accommodate for urgent cases to provide same-day appointments and report.
