Pain Management Injection under CT and ultrasound guidance

Pain management injections usually involves injecting a mixture of anaesthetic and corticosteroid into the area of interest. These can be performed under the guidance of CT or ultrasound by NIA Diagnostic Imaging’s highly skilled and experienced radiologists. The choice of modality is dependent on your symptoms and area of concern.

Joint Injections: You may need a driver for some injections. Please call us for more information.

Otherwise, usually there are no specific preparations required for all other pain management injections.
