OPG & Cephalogram
OPG (Orthopantomogram) uses x-ray to generate two-dimensional, panoramic images of the teeth, gums and jaws. This type of examination is usually requested by dentists and dental practitioners as part of a patient’s dental treatment and check-up. Similarly, a cephalogram (also known as lateral ceph) provides an image of the jaw and teeth which is mainly used in orthodontic planning.
At NIA Diagnostic Imaging, we invest in the latest digital x-ray (DR) technology for dental imaging, which offers excellent image quality and low radiation dose at a highly efficient manner compared with conventional dental x-ray systems. Thus, results are readily available in no time.
