CT Colonography (Virtual Colonoscopy)

CT Colonography aims to screen for ulcers, polyps, or cancers in the large intestine. This study is also known as a ‘virtual colonoscopy’ and utilises x-rays to generate fine slices of your colon, and these slices can be reconstructed into 3D images.

Please bring any previous diagnostic imaging and reports related to the area.

Before your appointment, a strict diet and preparation is needed to clear out your bowels in order to detect abnormalities. Therefore, please call us for more information regarding this preparation.
