These studies can be performed via computed tomography (CT) or ultrasound, and the type of modality chosen is dependent on your symptoms and region of interest.<\/p><p>CT Angiography (CTA) involves using x-rays to generate fine slices of the blood vessels with an addition of an intravenous iodine contrast injection to highlight the blood vessels.<\/p><p>NIA Diagnostic Imaging performs all CTA studies including:<\/p><ul><li>CT Cerebral\/Circle of Willis Angiography<\/li><li>CT Pulmonary Angiography<\/li><li>CT Coronary Angiography &amp;\u00a0Calcium Scoring<\/li><li>CT Abdominal Angiography<\/li><li>CT Mesenteric Angiography<\/li><li>CT Splenic Angiography<\/li><li>CT Renal Angiography<\/li><li>CT Upper &amp; Lower Limbs Angiography<\/li><li>CT Brain Venograms<\/li><li>CT Upper &amp; Lower Limbs Venograms<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><p><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/p><p>Please bring any previous diagnostic imaging and reports related to the area.<\/p><p>There may be specific preparations required for some CTA studies.
